| ن ۚ وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ (1) Domicella pen quod they people scripsit |
| مَا أَنتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ (2) Vos attained major beatus ex tuus Dominus; vos non est crazy |
| وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجْرًا غَيْرَ مَمْنُونٍ (3) Vos attained recompense bene deserved |
| وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ (4) Vos beatus major moral character |
| فَسَتُبْصِرُ وَيُبْصِرُونَ (5) Vos vide they vide |
| بِأَييِّكُمُ الْمَفْتُونُ (6) Quae de vos condemned |
| إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ (7) Tuus Dominus est fully aware de those qui strayed His path He est fully aware de those guided |
| فَلَا تُطِعِ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ (8) Non obey rejectors |
| وَدُّوا لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ (9) They wish vos compromise they too compromise |
| وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَّهِينٍ (10) Non obey omnis humilis swearer |
| هَمَّازٍ مَّشَّاءٍ بِنَمِيمٍ (11) slanderer backbiter |
| مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ (12) Forbidder charity transgressor sinner |
| عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ زَنِيمٍ (13) Unappreciative greedy |
| أَن كَانَ ذَا مَالٍ وَبَنِينَ (14) Et though he possessed satis moneta infans |
| إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ (15) When noster revelations recited eum he dictus Tales ex preter |
| سَنَسِمُهُ عَلَى الْخُرْطُومِ (16) Nos signum his face |
| إِنَّا بَلَوْنَاهُمْ كَمَا بَلَوْنَا أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا مُصْبِحِينَ (17) Nos tested them like nos tested owners garden qui juravit they harvest it in the morning |
| وَلَا يَسْتَثْنُونَ (18) They est ita absolutely sure |
| فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَائِفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَ (19) passing storm ex tuus Dominus passed it dum they est asleep |
| فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَالصَّرِيمِ (20) De morning it est barren |
| فَتَنَادَوْا مُصْبِحِينَ (21) They alias on each alius in the morning |
| أَنِ اغْدُوا عَلَىٰ حَرْثِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَارِمِينَ (22) harvest crop |
| فَانطَلَقُوا وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُونَ (23) On their via they confided each alius |
| أَن لَّا يَدْخُلَنَّهَا الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكُم مِّسْكِينٌ (24) Ut ex tunc on nullus de them est poor |
| وَغَدَوْا عَلَىٰ حَرْدٍ قَادِرِينَ (25) They est ita absolutely sure de their harvest |
| فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهَا قَالُوا إِنَّا لَضَالُّونَ (26) when they vide it they dictus Nos est ita wrong |
| بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ (27) Nunc nos habet nihil |
| قَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ (28) righteous among them dictus Si unus vos glorified (Deus) |
| قَالُوا سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ (29) They dictus Glory est noster Dominus! Nos transgressed |
| فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَلَاوَمُونَ (30) They started blame each alius |
| قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا طَاغِينَ (31) They dictus Woe to nos. Nos sinned |
| عَسَىٰ رَبُّنَا أَن يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْرًا مِّنْهَا إِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا رَاغِبُونَ (32) Maius noster Dominus grant nos bonus 1! Nos repent noster Dominus |
| كَذَٰلِكَ الْعَذَابُ ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ (33) Such est requital. retribution Hereafter est far malus they unus knew |
| إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ (34) righteous deserved their Dominus gardens bliss |
| أَفَنَجْعَلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كَالْمُجْرِمِينَ (35) Nos treat Submitters criminals |
| مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ (36) Quod est wrong cum tuus logic |
| أَمْ لَكُمْ كِتَابٌ فِيهِ تَدْرُسُونَ (37) Vos perfecit alias book uphold |
| إِنَّ لَكُمْ فِيهِ لَمَا تَخَيَّرُونَ (38) In it vos invenit anything vos want |
| أَمْ لَكُمْ أَيْمَانٌ عَلَيْنَا بَالِغَةٌ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ۙ إِنَّ لَكُمْ لَمَا تَحْكُمُونَ (39) Vos received solemn assurances ex nos ut grant vos whatever vos wish Feria Resurrection |
| سَلْهُمْ أَيُّهُم بِذَٰلِكَ زَعِيمٌ (40) Ask them Qui guarantees hoc pro vos |
| أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ فَلْيَأْتُوا بِشُرَكَائِهِمْ إِن كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ (41) they habet idols? Let their idols help them they est truthful |
| يَوْمَ يُكْشَفُ عَن سَاقٍ وَيُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى السُّجُودِ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ (42) Feria advenit when they exposed they est required fall prostrate they est unable to |
| خَاشِعَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۖ وَقَدْ كَانُوا يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى السُّجُودِ وَهُمْ سَالِمُونَ (43) Cum their eyes subdued humiliation cover them. They invited fall prostrate when they est whole able |
| فَذَرْنِي وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَٰذَا الْحَدِيثِ ۖ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ (44) Ergo let Me deal cum those reject hoc Hadith; nos lead them on whence they nunquam perceive |
| وَأُمْلِي لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ (45) Ego dedit them satis rope ego scheming est formidable |
| أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ أَجْرًا فَهُم مِّن مَّغْرَمٍ مُّثْقَلُونَ (46) Vos asking them moneta they burdened fine |
| أَمْ عِندَهُمُ الْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ (47) they know future they perfecit it actum |
| فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُن كَصَاحِبِ الْحُوتِ إِذْ نَادَىٰ وَهُوَ مَكْظُومٌ (48) Vos steadfastly persevere carrying commands tuus Dominus! Non est (Jonah) alias fish |
| لَّوْلَا أَن تَدَارَكَهُ نِعْمَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ لَنُبِذَ بِالْعَرَاءِ وَهُوَ مَذْمُومٌ (49) Si non est his Dominus gratia he ejected desert sinner |
| فَاجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَجَعَلَهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ (50) his Dominus beatus eum factus eum righteous |
| وَإِن يَكَادُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ بِأَبْصَارِهِمْ لَمَّا سَمِعُوا الذِّكْرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ لَمَجْنُونٌ (51) Those disbelieved show their ridicule their eyes when they hear message dictus He est crazy |
| وَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَالَمِينَ (52) It est in fact message saeculum |
