﴿كذبت ثمود بالنذر﴾ [القَمَر: 23]
| Dr Kamal Omar Samud (people) belied the warnings |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Thamud denied the warning |
| Dr Munir Munshey The (people of) Samood also rejected the warnings |
| Edward Henry Palmer Thamud called the warnings lies |
| Farook Malik The people of Thamud disbelieved Our warning |
| George Sale Thamud charged the admonitions of their prophet with falsehood |
