and makes men go through trials in order that He might purge - Surah al-‘Imran ayat 141 in English

﴿وَلِيُمَحِّصَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَيَمۡحَقَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 141]

and makes men go through trials in order that He might purge the believers and blot out those who deny the Truth

﴿وليمحص الله الذين آمنوا ويمحق الكافرين﴾ [آل عِمران: 141]
