﴿تِلۡكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ يُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 13]
﴿تلك حدود الله ومن يطع الله ورسوله يدخله جنات تجري من تحتها﴾ [النِّسَاء: 13]
Abdel Haleem These are the bounds set by God: God will admit those who obey Him and His Messenger to Gardens graced with flowing streams, and there they will stay- that is the supreme triumph |
Abdul Hye These are limits (set by) Allah and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad), will be admitted to gardens under them the rivers flow (Paradise) to abide therein, and that will be the great success |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali Those are limits set by Allah: those who obey Allah and His Messenger will be admitted to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath, to abide therein (for ever) and that will be the supreme achievement |
Abdul Majid Daryabadi These are the statutes of Allah, and whosoever obeyeth Allah and His apostle, him He shall cause to enter the Gardens whereunder rivers flow, as abiders therein; and that is an achievement mighty |
Ahmed Ali These are the limits set by God, and those who follow the commandments of God and the Prophet, will indeed be admitted to gardens with streams of water running by, where they will for ever abide; and this will be success supreme |
