﴿قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ ﴾
[الذَّاريَات: 32]
﴿قالوا إنا أرسلنا إلى قوم مجرمين﴾ [الذَّاريَات: 32]
| Dr Kamal Omar (The angels) said: “Surely we, we have been sent to the nation of sinners |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They said: That we were sent to a folk, ones who sin |
| Dr Munir Munshey They said, "We have been sent towards a criminal nation, (the people of Loot) |
| Edward Henry Palmer They said, 'Verily, we are sent unto a sinful people |
| Farook Malik They replied: "We have been sent to a guilty nation (people of Lot, who were homosexuals) |
| George Sale They answered, verily we are sent unto a wicked people |
| Maududi They replied: "Behold, we have been sent to a wicked people |
