| أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ (1) Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense |
| فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ (2) Such is the one who repulses the orphan harshly |
| وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ (3) and does not urge others to feed the needy |
| فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ (4) So woe to those who pray |
| الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ (5) but are heedless of their prayer |
| الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ (6) those who only show off |
| وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ (7) and withhold even the small kindnesses |
