﴿وَأَنتَ حِلُّۢ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ﴾
[البَلَد: 2]
﴿وأنت حل بهذا البلد﴾ [البَلَد: 2]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And you shall be made free from obligation in this city |
| Mohammad Shafi — And you are a free citizen of this City — |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And thou art an indweller of this city |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani and (O Prophet,) you are going to be allowed (to fight) in this city |
| Muhammad Asad this land in which thou art free to dwell |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali And you (i.e., the Prophet) are an inhabitant of this country |
| Muhammad Sarwar in which you are now living |
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani and (O Prophet,) you are going to be allowed (to fight) in this city |
| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition even though you ˹O Prophet˺ are subject to abuse in this city— |
| Mustafa Khattab God Edition even though you ˹O Prophet˺ are subject to abuse in this city— |
| N J Dawood and you¹ are a resident of this city |
| Safi Kaskas and you [Prophet] are free to dwell in this town |
