﴿أَفَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ رِضۡوَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَنۢ بَآءَ بِسَخَطٖ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 162]
﴿أفمن اتبع رضوان الله كمن باء بسخط من الله ومأواه جهنم وبئس﴾ [آل عِمران: 162]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Is the person who follows the blessings of God like the person who brings on himself the punishment of God, and whose home is hell? This is a terrible destination indeed |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Is anyone who follows God’s pleasure like someone who brings God’s anger upon himself and his place is hell and a bad destination |
| Ali Quli Qarai Is he who follows [the course of] Allah’s pleasure like him who earns Allah’s displeasure and whose refuge is hell, an evil destination |
| Ali Unal What, is he who strives after God’s good pleasure and approval like him who is laden with God’s condemnation and whose refuge is Hell? How evil a destination to arrive at |
| Hamid S Aziz Is he who follows the pleasure of Allah, like him who has drawn on himself anger from Allah, whose resort is the Fire? An evil journey´s end |
| John Medows Rodwell Shall he who hath followed the good pleasure of God be as he who hath brought on himself wrath from God, and whose abode shall be Hell? and wretched the journey thither |
| Literal Is that who followed God`s acceptance/approval/satisfaction, as who returned with hatred/anger/dissatisfaction from God, and his shelter/refuge (is) Hell , and how bad (is) the end/destination |
| Mir Anees Original Then, is he, who follows Allah's pleasure, like him who deserves displeasure of Allah and his settling place is hell? And it is an evil destination |
