﴿وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمۡ صَٰلِحًا أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمۡ فَرِيقَانِ يَخۡتَصِمُونَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 45]
﴿ولقد أرسلنا إلى ثمود أخاهم صالحا أن اعبدوا الله فإذا هم فريقان﴾ [النَّمل: 45]
| Abdel Haleem To the people of Thamud We sent their brother, Salih, saying, ‘Worship God alone,’ but they split into two rival factions |
| Abdul Hye And indeed We sent to Thamud their brother Saleh, saying: “Worship Allah.” Then look! They became 2 parties (believers and disbelievers) quarreling with each other |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali We sent (aforetime), to the Thamud, their brother Salih, saying, "Serve Allah": But behold, they became two factions quarrelling with each other |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And assuredly We sent unto the Thamud their brother Saleh saying: worship Allah. Then lo! they became two parties contending |
