﴿نَحۡنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيۡكَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡقَصَصِ بِمَآ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ وَإِن كُنتَ مِن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰفِلِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 3]
﴿نحن نقص عليك أحسن القصص بما أوحينا إليك هذا القرآن وإن كنت﴾ [يُوسُف: 3]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir We narrate to you the best of narratives, by Our revealing to you this Quran, though before this you were certainly one of those who did not know |
| Mohammad Shafi We narrate to you the best of narratives by Our revealing to you this Quran. And, before this, you were indeed among those who did not know |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall We narrate unto thee (Muhammad) the best of narratives in that We have inspired in thee this Qur'an, though aforetime thou wast of the heedless |
