﴿قَالُوٓاْ أَرۡجِهۡ وَأَخَاهُ وَٱبۡعَثۡ فِي ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 36]
﴿قالوا أرجه وأخاه وابعث في المدائن حاشرين﴾ [الشعراء: 36]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They said: Give him and his brother respite and send heralds into the cities |
| Mohammad Shafi They said, "Defer the decision on him and his brother, and send callers to cities and towns |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall They said: Put him off, (him) and his brother, and send into the cities summoners |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani They said, “Leave him and his brother alone for some time, and send heralds to the cities |
| Muhammad Asad They answered: “Let him and his brother wait a while, and send unto all cities heralds |
