Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Anfal ayat 13 - الأنفَال - Page - Juz 9
﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ شَآقُّواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ ﴾
[الأنفَال: 13]
﴿ذلك بأنهم شاقوا الله ورسوله ومن يشاقق الله ورسوله فإن الله شديد﴾ [الأنفَال: 13]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir This is because they acted adversely to Allah and His Apostle; and whoever acts adversely to Allah and His Apostle-- then surely Allah is severe in requiting (evil) |
| Mohammad Shafi This is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger, then, indeed, Allah is severe in punishment |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall That is because they opposed Allah and His messenger. Whoso opposeth Allah and His messenger, (for him) lo! Allah is severe in punishment |
