﴿فَأَصَابَهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُواْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ﴾
[النَّحل: 34]
﴿فأصابهم سيئات ما عملوا وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون﴾ [النَّحل: 34]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But the harmful results of their deeds overtook them, and the very punishment at which they mocked captured them |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So the bad result of what they did happened to them, and they were surrounded by what they used to ridicule |
| Ali Quli Qarai So the evils of what they had earned visited them, and they were besieged by what they used to deride |
| Ali Unal Then the evil consequences of what they used to do fell upon them, and that which they were mocking overwhelmed them |
| Hamid S Aziz So that the evil which they had done smote them, and that which they mocked surrounded (imprisoned, restricted, hemmed them in) |
| John Medows Rodwell And the ill which they had done recoiled upon them, and that which they had scoffed at encompassed them round about |
| Literal So sins/crimes (of) what they made/did struck/hit them , and what they were with it mocking/making fun (of) surrounded/afflicted with them |
