﴿أَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَغۡفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ ﴾
[المَائدة: 40]
﴿ألم تعلم أن الله له ملك السموات والأرض يعذب من يشاء ويغفر﴾ [المَائدة: 40]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Do you not know that to God belongs the control of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whom He pleases, He forgives whom He pleases, and God has power over all things |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Did you not know that rule of the skies and the earth belongs to God, punishing anyone He wants and forgiving anyone He wants? God is capable of everything |
| Ali Quli Qarai Do you not know that to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whomever He wishes, and forgives whomever He wishes, and Allah has power over all things |
| Ali Unal Do you not know that surely to God belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whom He wills and forgives whom He wills. He has full power over everything |
| Hamid S Aziz Do you not know that Allah, His alone is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He punishes whom He pleases, and forgives whom He pleases, for Allah has power over all things |
| John Medows Rodwell Knowest thou not that the sovereignty of the Heavens and of the Earth is God's? He chastiseth whom He will, and whom He will He forgiveth. And God hath power over all things |
| Literal Did you not know that God, (has) for Him the skies`/space`s, and the earth`s/Planet Earth`s ownership , He tortures whom He wills/wants, and He forgives to whom He wills/wants, and God (is) on every thing capable/able |
