﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ نَزَّلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَفِي شِقَاقِۭ بَعِيدٖ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 176]
﴿ذلك بأن الله نـزل الكتاب بالحق وإن الذين اختلفوا في الكتاب لفي﴾ [البَقَرَة: 176]
| Abdel Haleem This is because God has sent the Scripture with the Truth; those who pursue differences in the Scripture are deeply entrenched in opposition |
| Abdul Hye That is because Allah has sent down the book (the Qur’an) with the truth. And surely, those who differed in the book (the Qur’an) are far away in opposition |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali (Their doom is) because Allah sent down the Book in truth but those who seek causes of dispute in the Book are in a schism Far (from the purpose) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi This shall be because Allah hath verily sent down the Book with truth: and verily those who differ respecting the Book. are surely in cleavage wide |
| Ahmed Ali That is because God has revealed the Book containing the truth; but those who are at variance about it have gone astray in their contrariness |
