﴿وَإِن كُنتُمۡ فِي رَيۡبٖ مِّمَّا نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِنَا فَأۡتُواْ بِسُورَةٖ مِّن مِّثۡلِهِۦ وَٱدۡعُواْ شُهَدَآءَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 23]
﴿وإن كنتم في ريب مما نزلنا على عبدنا فأتوا بسورة من مثله﴾ [البَقَرَة: 23]
| Abdel Haleem If you have doubts about the revelation We have sent down to Our servant, then produce a single sura like it- enlist whatever supporters you have other than God- if you truly [think you can] |
| Abdul Hye And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down (the Qur’an) to Our servant (Muhammad), then produce a chapter like this, and call your witnesses besides Allah, if you are truthful |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And if ye be in doubt concerning that which We have revealed unto Our bondsman, then bring a chapter like thereunto, and call your witnesses as against Allah, if ye say sooth |
