﴿يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لِمَ تُحَآجُّونَ فِيٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَتِ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةُ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦٓۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 65]
﴿ياأهل الكتاب لم تحاجون في إبراهيم وما أنـزلت التوراة والإنجيل إلا من﴾ [آل عِمران: 65]
| Abdel Haleem People of the Book, why do you argue about Abraham when the Torah and the Gospels were not revealed until after his time? Do you not understand |
| Abdul Hye O people of the Scripture! Why do you dispute about Abraham (whether he was a Jew or Christian?), while the Torah and the Gospel were sent down long after him? Don’t you understand |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Ye People of the Book! Why dispute ye about Abraham, when the Law and the Gospel Were not revealed Till after him? Have ye no understanding |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi O people of the Book! wherefore contend ye concerning Ibrahim, whereas the Taurat and the Injil were not sent down save after him! Will ye not then under stand |
