﴿وَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ إِذۡ جَآءَهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ ﴾
[يسٓ: 13]
﴿واضرب لهم مثلا أصحاب القرية إذ جاءها المرسلون﴾ [يسٓ: 13]
| Abdel Haleem Give them the example of the people to whose town messengers came |
| Abdul Hye And put forward to them an example; the story of the residents of the town (Antakiya, Turkey) to whom the Messengers came |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Set forth to them, by way of a parable, the (story of) the Companions of the City. Behold!, there came messengers to it |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And propound thou Unto them the similitude of the inhabitants of a town, When there came thereto the sent ones |
