﴿فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ فِي دَارِهِمۡ جَٰثِمِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 78]
﴿فأخذتهم الرجفة فأصبحوا في دارهم جاثمين﴾ [الأعرَاف: 78]
| Abdel Haleem An earthquake seized them: by the next morning they were lying dead in their homes |
| Abdul Hye So the earthquake took them in the morning in their homes lying (dead) on their faces |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali So the earthquake took them unawares, and they lay prostrate in their homes in the morning |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Whereupon an earthquake seized them, so that they lay prone in their dwellings |
