﴿إِلَّا تَنفِرُواْ يُعَذِّبۡكُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا وَيَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ قَوۡمًا غَيۡرَكُمۡ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيۡـٔٗاۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ ﴾
[التوبَة: 39]
﴿إلا تنفروا يعذبكم عذابا أليما ويستبدل قوما غيركم ولا تضروه شيئا والله﴾ [التوبَة: 39]
| Abdel Haleem If you do not go out and fight, God will punish you severely and put others in your place, but you cannot harm Him in any way: God has power over all things |
| Abdul Hye If you don’t march forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with other people, and you cannot harm Him at all, and Allah is Able over all things |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least. For Allah hath power over all things |
