﴿نَحۡنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيۡكَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡقَصَصِ بِمَآ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ وَإِن كُنتَ مِن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰفِلِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 3]
﴿نحن نقص عليك أحسن القصص بما أوحينا إليك هذا القرآن وإن كنت﴾ [يُوسُف: 3]
| Dr Kamal Omar We, We relate unto you the better out of the incidents alongwith what We inspired towards you (as) this Al-Quran, and although you were before this, surely of those who were unaware |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar We relate to thee the fairer of narratives through what We revealed to thee of this, the Quran, although thou hadst been before this among the ones who are heedless |
| Dr Munir Munshey Through the revelations in this Qur´an, We narrate to you the best of the past events! You had no prior knowledge of these events |
| Edward Henry Palmer We tell thee the best of stories, in inspiring thee with this Qur'an, though thou wert before it among the heedless |
