﴿وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمۡ صَٰلِحًا أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمۡ فَرِيقَانِ يَخۡتَصِمُونَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 45]
﴿ولقد أرسلنا إلى ثمود أخاهم صالحا أن اعبدوا الله فإذا هم فريقان﴾ [النَّمل: 45]
| Dr Kamal Omar And surely, indeed We sent to Samud (people) their brother Salih, (saying) that: “Pay obedience to Allah.” Then when they (broke up into) two sects, they quarrel among each other |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And, certainly, We sent to Thamud their brother, Salih that they worship God! Then, when they became two groups of people striving against one another |
