﴿وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَنۡ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا لِّتَسۡكُنُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَكُم مَّوَدَّةٗ وَرَحۡمَةًۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 21]
﴿ومن آياته أن خلق لكم من أنفسكم أزواجا لتسكنوا إليها وجعل بينكم﴾ [الرُّوم: 21]
| Dr Kamal Omar And (it is) among His Signs that He created for you from among Anfusekum (your own Nufus or people), mates — in order that you may find solace in them. [The word Azwaj should be translated as mates because it covers both the male and female as spouses]. And He has established among you affection and mercy. Surely, in this are indeed lessons for those who think and ponder |
