﴿وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٞ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهَاۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦۖ وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 92]
﴿وهذا كتاب أنـزلناه مبارك مصدق الذي بين يديه ولتنذر أم القرى ومن﴾ [الأنعَام: 92]
| Dr Kamal Omar And this Book which We have sent is a Blessed one — one which confirms as true what is in between its two hands (i.e., already there) and so that you may warn Ummul Qurah and whoever is around it. And those who Believe in the Hereafter Believe in this (Al-Kitab), and they guard over their Salat |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And this is a Book We caused to descend—that which is blessed—and that which establishes as true what was before it and for thee to warn the Mother of Towns and who are around it and those who believe in the world to come believe in it. And they over their formal prayers are watchful |
| Dr Munir Munshey We have revealed this book, (the Qur´an), as a blessing and as a confirmation of the book that came before it. So you may warn the mother of all towns, (Makkah), and those in its vicinity. Those believing in the life-to-come believe in this book, and they zealously and punctually guard their ´salat´ |

| George Sale And this is a Book which We have revealed, full of blessings, to fulfill that which preceded it, and to enable thee to warn the Mother of towns and those around her. And those, who believe in the Hereafter, believe therein and they strictly observe their Prayers |
| Maududi (Like that Book) this too is a Book which We have revealed; full of blessing, confirming what was revealed before it so that you might warn the people of the Mother of Cities (Makka) and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and are evermindful of their Prayers |
