Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 188 - البَقَرَة - Page - Juz 2
﴿وَلَا تَأۡكُلُوٓاْ أَمۡوَٰلَكُم بَيۡنَكُم بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ وَتُدۡلُواْ بِهَآ إِلَى ٱلۡحُكَّامِ لِتَأۡكُلُواْ فَرِيقٗا مِّنۡ أَمۡوَٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 188]
﴿ولا تأكلوا أموالكم بينكم بالباطل وتدلوا بها إلى الحكام لتأكلوا فريقا من﴾ [البَقَرَة: 188]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And do not swallow up your property among yourselves by false means, neither seek to gain access thereby to the judges, so that you may swallow up a part of the property of men wrongfully while you know |
Mohammad Shafi And usurp not property of one another among yourselves falsely, and bribe the authorities therewith in order to knowingly misappropriate part of others' property.h to |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And eat not up your property among yourselves in vanity, nor seek by it to gain the hearing of the judges that ye may knowingly devour a portion of the property of others wrongfully |
