Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 86 - البَقَرَة - Page - Juz 1
﴿أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشۡتَرَوُاْ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 86]
﴿أولئك الذين اشتروا الحياة الدنيا بالآخرة فلا يخفف عنهم العذاب ولا هم﴾ [البَقَرَة: 86]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir These are they who buy the life of this world for the hereafter, so their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped |
| Mohammad Shafi Those are the people who have purchased the life of this world for the Hereafter! So then the severity of the punishment shall not be lessened for them; nor shall they be helped |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Such are those who buy the life of the world at the price of the Hereafter. Their punishment will not be lightened, neither will they have support |
