Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 74 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿وَلُوطًا ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمٗا وَعِلۡمٗا وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ ٱلَّتِي كَانَت تَّعۡمَلُ ٱلۡخَبَٰٓئِثَۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمَ سَوۡءٖ فَٰسِقِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 74]
﴿ولوطا آتيناه حكما وعلما ونجيناه من القرية التي كانت تعمل الخبائث إنهم﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 74]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And (as for) Lut, We gave him wisdom and knowledge, and We delivered him from the town which wrought abominations; surely they were an evil people, transgressors |
| Mohammad Shafi And Lot — We gave him wisdom and knowledge. And We delivered him from the town that did bad things. They were indeed a wicked, transgressing people (indulging in the sin of homosexuality).h |
