Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 73 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ أَئِمَّةٗ يَهۡدُونَ بِأَمۡرِنَا وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِمۡ فِعۡلَ ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ وَإِقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَإِيتَآءَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةِۖ وَكَانُواْ لَنَا عَٰبِدِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 73]
﴿وجعلناهم أئمة يهدون بأمرنا وأوحينا إليهم فعل الخيرات وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 73]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And We made them Imams who guided (people) by Our command, and We revealed to them the doing of good and the keeping up of prayer and the giving of the alms, and Us (alone) did they serve |
| Mohammad Shafi And We made them leaders who guided people by Our command. And We revealed to them how good deeds are done, how prayers are performed, and how charities are given. And Us certainly they obeyed |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And We made them chiefs who guide by Our command, and We inspired in them the doing of good deeds and the right establishment of worship and the giving of alms, and they were worshippers of Us (alone) |
