﴿ثُمَّ صَدَقۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡوَعۡدَ فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُمۡ وَمَن نَّشَآءُ وَأَهۡلَكۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 9]
﴿ثم صدقناهم الوعد فأنجيناهم ومن نشاء وأهلكنا المسرفين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 9]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Then We made Our promise good to them, so We delivered them and those whom We pleased, and We destroyed the extravagant |
| Mohammad Shafi And We made Our promise good to them; We saved them and those whom We pleased, and We destroyed the transgressors |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Then we fulfilled the promise unto them. So we delivered them and whom We would, and We destroyed the prodigals |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Then We caused the promise to come true for them, so We saved them and those whom We willed, and destroyed the transgressors |
