﴿وَمَا جَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ جَسَدٗا لَّا يَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَمَا كَانُواْ خَٰلِدِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 8]
﴿وما جعلناهم جسدا لا يأكلون الطعام وما كانوا خالدين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 8]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And We did not make them bodies not eating the food, and they were not to abide (forever) |
| Mohammad Shafi And We had not made them bodies that did not eat food, and they were not immortal |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall We gave them not bodies that would not eat food, nor were they immortals |
