﴿يَوۡمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ مَّا عَمِلَتۡ مِنۡ خَيۡرٖ مُّحۡضَرٗا وَمَا عَمِلَتۡ مِن سُوٓءٖ تَوَدُّ لَوۡ أَنَّ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَهُۥٓ أَمَدَۢا بَعِيدٗاۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسَهُۥۗ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 30]
﴿يوم تجد كل نفس ما عملت من خير محضرا وما عملت من﴾ [آل عِمران: 30]
Mohammad Habib Shakir On the day that every soul shall find present what it has done of good and what it has done of evil, it shall wish that between it and that (evil) there were a long duration of time; and Allah makes you to be cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and Allah is Compassionate to the servants |
Mohammad Shafi The Day when every soul would find presented whatever good it had done! And as regards whatever evil it had committed, it (the soul) would wish there were a great distance, on that day, between it and that evil. And Allah asks you to have fear of Him. And Allah is kind to His devotees |
