﴿يَٰنِسَآءَ ٱلنَّبِيِّ مَن يَأۡتِ مِنكُنَّ بِفَٰحِشَةٖ مُّبَيِّنَةٖ يُضَٰعَفۡ لَهَا ٱلۡعَذَابُ ضِعۡفَيۡنِۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٗا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 30]
﴿يانساء النبي من يأت منكن بفاحشة مبينة يضاعف لها العذاب ضعفين وكان﴾ [الأحزَاب: 30]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir O wives of the prophet! whoever of you commits an open indecency, the punishment shall be increased to her doubly; and this is easy to Allah |
| Mohammad Shafi O wives of the Prophet! Whoever of you is guilty of manifestly improper conduct, double is the punishment for her. And this is easy for Allah |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall O ye wives of the Prophet! Whosoever of you committeth manifest lewdness, the punishment for her will be doubled, and that is easy for Allah |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani O wives of the Prophet, whoever from among you will commit a clearly shameful act, the punishment will be doubled for her; and it is easy for Allah to do so |
| Muhammad Asad O wives of the Prophet! If any of you were to become guilty of manifestly immoral conduct, double [that of other sinners] would be her suffering [in the hereafter]: for that is indeed easy for God |
