﴿ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَ ﴾
[سَبإ: 17]
﴿ذلك جزيناهم بما كفروا وهل نجازي إلا الكفور﴾ [سَبإ: 17]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir This We requited them with because they disbelieved; and We do not punish any but the ungrateful |
| Mohammad Shafi We punished them thus because they suppressed the Truth. And We punish none but those who suppress the Truth |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall This We awarded them because of their ingratitude. Punish We ever any save the ingrates |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Thus We punished them because of their ungratefulness. We do not give (such a) punishment but to the ungrateful |
