﴿أَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 58]
﴿أفما نحن بميتين﴾ [الصَّافَات: 58]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Is it then that we are not going to die |
| Mohammad Shafi Are we to have no death |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Are we then not to die |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani (Then the speaker will address other people of Paradise in delight and wonder, saying,) “Are we not then to die anymore |
| Muhammad Asad But then, [O my friends in paradise,] is it [really] so that we are not to die |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Then in no way will we be dead |
| Muhammad Sarwar He will ask his companion, "Did you not say that there would only be one death |
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani (Then the speaker will address other people of Paradise in delight and wonder, saying,) .Are we not then to die anymore |
| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition ˹Then he will ask his fellow believers,˺ “Can you imagine that we will never die |

| Safi Kaskas Then, [he says to those in paradise], "Will we really not die |
