﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱبۡتَغُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ ٱلۡوَسِيلَةَ وَجَٰهِدُواْ فِي سَبِيلِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 35]
﴿ياأيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله وابتغوا إليه الوسيلة وجاهدوا في سبيله لعلكم﴾ [المَائدة: 35]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir O you who believe! be careful of (your duty to) Allah and seek means of nearness to Him and strive hard in His way that you may be successful |
| Mohammad Shafi O you who believe! Fear Allah and seek means of approach to Him and struggle in His Path, so that you get success |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall O ye who believe! Be mindful of your duty to Allah, and seek the way of approach unto Him, and strive in His way in order that ye may succeed |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani O you who believe, fear Allah and seek means of nearness to Him, and carry out Jihād in His way, so that you may succeed |
| Muhammad Asad O YOU who have attained to faith! Remain conscious of God, and seek to come closer unto Him, and strive hard in His cause, so that you might attain to a happy state |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali O you who have believed, be pious to Allah and seek (close) proximity to Him, and strive in His way, that possibly you would prosper |
| Muhammad Sarwar Believers, have fear of God. Find the means to reach Him and strive hard for His cause so that you may have everlasting happiness |
