Quran with British translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 136 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 9
﴿فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا غَٰفِلِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 136]
﴿فانتقمنا منهم فأغرقناهم في اليم بأنهم كذبوا بآياتنا وكانوا عنها غافلين﴾ [الأعرَاف: 136]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Therefore We inflicted retribution on them and drowned them in the sea because they rejected Our signs and were heedless of them |
| Mohammad Shafi We then took our revenge from them and drowned them in the sea because they rejected Our signs and paid no heed to them |
