Quran with British translation - Surah At-Taubah ayat 20 - التوبَة - Page - Juz 10
﴿ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَهَاجَرُواْ وَجَٰهَدُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ أَعۡظَمُ دَرَجَةً عِندَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَآئِزُونَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 20]
﴿الذين آمنوا وهاجروا وجاهدوا في سبيل الله بأموالهم وأنفسهم أعظم درجة عند﴾ [التوبَة: 20]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Those who believed and fled (their homes), and strove hard in Allah's way with their property and their souls, are much higher in rank with Allah; and those are they who are the achievers (of their objects) |
| Mohammad Shafi Those that believed and migrated, and strove hard in Allah's Path with their wealth and their lives, are higher in rank in Allah's sight. And those are the achievers |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Those who believe, and have left their homes and striven with their wealth and their lives in Allah's way are of much greater worth in Allah's sight. These are they who are triumphant |
