Quran with British translation - Surah At-Taubah ayat 85 - التوبَة - Page - Juz 10
﴿وَلَا تُعۡجِبۡكَ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدُهُمۡۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَتَزۡهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 85]
﴿ولا تعجبك أموالهم وأولادهم إنما يريد الله أن يعذبهم بها في الدنيا﴾ [التوبَة: 85]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And let not their property and their children excite your admiration; Allah only wishes to chastise them with these in this world and (that) their souls may depart while they are unbelievers |
| Mohammad Shafi And let not their wealth and their children impress you. Allah only wishes to punish them with these in this world and to cause their souls to depart while they indulge in suppression of the Truth |
