﴿أَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا أَنۡ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ رَجُلٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَنۡ أَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَنَّ لَهُمۡ قَدَمَ صِدۡقٍ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۗ قَالَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٞ مُّبِينٌ ﴾
[يُونس: 2]
﴿أكان للناس عجبا أن أوحينا إلى رجل منهم أن أنذر الناس وبشر﴾ [يُونس: 2]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Is it a matter of wonder to humanity that We have sent Our inspiration to a person from among them? That he should advise humanity, and give the good news to the believers, that they have before their Lord the lofty rank of truth. The unbelievers say, “He is indeed an obvious deceiver.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Is it a surprise to the people that We revealed to a man among them to warn the people, and to give good news to those who believed that they have a true footing with their Master? The disbelievers said: this is certainly an obvious magician |
| Ali Quli Qarai Does it seem odd to these people that We have revealed to a man from among themselves, [declaring], ‘Warn mankind, and give good news to the faithful that they are in good standing with their Lord’? The faithless say, ‘This is indeed a plain magician.’ |
| Ali Unal Does it seem strange to people that We reveal to a man from among them, saying: "Warn all humankind (of the consequences of the way they follow), and give those who believe the glad tidings that they have a sure footing with their Lord (on account of their belief, faithfulness, and righteous deeds)."
