﴿يَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُم مِّن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَيَفۡعَلُونَ مَا يُؤۡمَرُونَ۩ ﴾
[النَّحل: 50]
﴿يخافون ربهم من فوقهم ويفعلون ما يؤمرون﴾ [النَّحل: 50]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They all revere their Lord high above themselves, and they do all that they are asked |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad They are afraid of their Master that is above them (and superior to them), and they (the angels) do what they are ordered |
| Ali Quli Qarai They fear their Lord above them, and do what they are commanded |
| Ali Unal They (the angels) fear their Lord high above them (i.e., Who has absolute power over them), and they do what they are commanded |
| Hamid S Aziz They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded |
| John Medows Rodwell They fear their Lord who is above them, and do what they are bidden |
| Literal They fear their Lord from above them, and they make/do what they are ordered/commanded |
