﴿وَلَا يَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَنَّمَا نُمۡلِي لَهُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لِّأَنفُسِهِمۡۚ إِنَّمَا نُمۡلِي لَهُمۡ لِيَزۡدَادُوٓاْ إِثۡمٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 178]
﴿ولا يحسبن الذين كفروا أنما نملي لهم خير لأنفسهم إنما نملي لهم﴾ [آل عِمران: 178]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Let not the unbelievers think that Our respite to them is good for them. We grant them respite so that they may increase their sins, but they will have a shameful punishment |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Those who disbelieved should not think that whatever time We gave them is good for themselves, We only gave them time so that they increase their sins, and a humiliating punishment is theirs |
| Ali Quli Qarai Let the faithless not suppose that the respite that We grant them is good for their souls: We give them respite only that they may increase in sin, and there is a humiliating punishment for them |

| Literal And (let not) those who disbelieved think/suppose (E) that We extend in time/life/enjoyment/delay goodness for themselves, but We extend in time/life/enjoyment/delay for them to increase (them in) sin/crime, and for them (is) a despised torture |
