Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Ahzab ayat 26 - الأحزَاب - Page - Juz 21
﴿وَأَنزَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَٰهَرُوهُم مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِن صَيَاصِيهِمۡ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلرُّعۡبَ فَرِيقٗا تَقۡتُلُونَ وَتَأۡسِرُونَ فَرِيقٗا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 26]
﴿وأنـزل الذين ظاهروهم من أهل الكتاب من صياصيهم وقذف في قلوبهم الرعب﴾ [الأحزَاب: 26]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And the people of the Book who aided them, God took them down from their strongholds and cast fear into their hearts. So that some you slew, and some you made prisoners |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And God brought down those among the people of the book who supported them (the coalition forces) from their fortresses, and He threw horror in their hearts, (so that) you kill a part of them and you capture a part of them |
| Ali Quli Qarai And He dragged down from their strongholds those who had backed them from among the People of the Book, and He cast terror into their hearts, [so that] you killed a part of them, and took captive [another] part |
| Ali Unal And He brought down from their strongholds those of the People of the Book who had supported them (the Confederates in their attack on Madinah), and cast fright in their hearts: some of them you killed, and others you took as prisoners of war |
| Hamid S Aziz And He brought down those of the People of the Book (Jews) who supported them, from their fortresses and He cast panic into their heart; some you killed and some you took captive |
| John Medows Rodwell And He caused those of the people of the Book (the Jews), who had aided the confederates, to come down out of their fortresses, and cast dismay into their hearts: some ye slew, others ye took prisoners |
| Literal And He descended those who cooperated/supported (against) them , from The Book`s people from their fortresses/strong holds , and He threw/hurled in their hearts/minds the terror/fright, a group/party you kill, and a group/party you capture/imprison |
