Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Fath ayat 26 - الفَتح - Page - Juz 26
﴿إِذۡ جَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلۡحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِيَّةِ فَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَأَلۡزَمَهُمۡ كَلِمَةَ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ وَكَانُوٓاْ أَحَقَّ بِهَا وَأَهۡلَهَاۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٗا ﴾
[الفَتح: 26]
﴿إذ جعل الذين كفروا في قلوبهم الحمية حمية الجاهلية فأنـزل الله سكينته﴾ [الفَتح: 26]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al While the unbelievers had in their hearts distain, distain of ignorance, God sent down His tranquility to His messenger and to the believers, and made them adhere to the command of self-restraint, and they were well entitled to it and worthy of it, and God has full knowledge of all things |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad When those who disbelieved put prejudice, the prejudice of the (days of) ignorance, in their hearts, then God sent down His serenity (and tranquility) to His messenger and to the believers and required word of self control from them, and they were more deserving of it and suited for it. And God knows everything |
Ali Quli Qarai When the faithless nourished bigotry in their hearts, the bigotry of pagan ignorance, Allah sent down His composure upon His Apostle and the faithful, and made them abide by the word of Godwariness, for they were the worthiest of it and deserved it, and Allah has knowledge of all things |
Ali Unal When those who disbelieved harbored in their hearts fierce zealotry (coming from egotism, tribalism, and feuding), the zealotry particular to the Age of Ignorance, God sent down His (gift of) inner peace and reassurance on His Messenger and on the believers, and bound them to the Word of faith, piety, and reverence for God. They were most worthy of it and entitled to it. And God has full knowledge of everything |

Literal When those who disbelieved made/put the heat/intensity , the pre-Islamic paganism`s/ignorance`s heat/intensity in their hearts/minds , so God descended His tranquillity/calm on His messenger and those who believed, and He obligated/necessitated the fear and obedience`s word/expression , and they were more worthy/deserving with it and its people , and God was/is with every thing knowledgeable |
