﴿قَدۡ سَأَلَهَا قَوۡمٞ مِّن قَبۡلِكُمۡ ثُمَّ أَصۡبَحُواْ بِهَا كَٰفِرِينَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 102]
﴿قد سألها قوم من قبلكم ثم أصبحوا بها كافرين﴾ [المَائدة: 102]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Some people before you asked such questions, and consequently lost their faith |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad A group (of people) before you have asked them, then they became disbelievers in them |
| Ali Quli Qarai Certainly some people asked about them before you and then came to disbelieve in them |
| Ali Unal Indeed a people before you used to ask such questions (and demanded from their Prophet such things as particular miracles), and thereafter they fell into unbelief (through not carrying out the commandments given in answer to their questions or through willfully disbelieving in their Prophet despite the miracles worked) |
| Hamid S Aziz People before you have asked such questions, yet on the morrow they disbelieved therein (or lost their faith) |
