Quran with English translation - Surah At-Taubah ayat 86 - التوبَة - Page - Juz 10
﴿وَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتۡ سُورَةٌ أَنۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَجَٰهِدُواْ مَعَ رَسُولِهِ ٱسۡتَـٔۡذَنَكَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلطَّوۡلِ مِنۡهُمۡ وَقَالُواْ ذَرۡنَا نَكُن مَّعَ ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 86]
﴿وإذا أنـزلت سورة أن آمنوا بالله وجاهدوا مع رسوله استأذنك أولو الطول﴾ [التوبَة: 86]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al When a Surah comes down, encouraging them to believe in God and to strive and fight along with His messenger, those with wealth and influence among them ask you for exemption. Say, “Leave us. We will be with those who sit.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And when a chapter was sent down (saying) that believe in God and try hard with His messenger, wealthy men among them ask your permission, and they say: leave us be with the sitting ones |
