﴿قَالَ هِيَ رَٰوَدَتۡنِي عَن نَّفۡسِيۚ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٞ مِّنۡ أَهۡلِهَآ إِن كَانَ قَمِيصُهُۥ قُدَّ مِن قُبُلٖ فَصَدَقَتۡ وَهُوَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 26]
﴿قال هي راودتني عن نفسي وشهد شاهد من أهلها إن كان قميصه﴾ [يُوسُف: 26]
| Shabbir Ahmed Joseph said, "She is the one who tried to seduce me." Now a member of her family came and suggested, "If his shirt is torn from the front, then she is telling the truth, and he is the liar |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed He (Yusuf) said: "It was she who tried to seduce me— From my (true) self." And one of (the members of) her household saw and told what happened, (like this):— "If it is that his shirt is torn from the front, then what she says is true, and he is the liar |
