﴿وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمًا عَرَبِيّٗاۚ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتَ أَهۡوَآءَهُم بَعۡدَ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا وَاقٖ ﴾
[الرَّعد: 37]
﴿وكذلك أنـزلناه حكما عربيا ولئن اتبعت أهواءهم بعد ما جاءك من العلم﴾ [الرَّعد: 37]
| Shabbir Ahmed Thus, We have revealed it, a Decisive Authority in Arabic. (O Prophet), indeed if you got influenced by people's likes and dislikes after the Knowledge has come to you, you will have no protector or savior against Allah |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed And like this We have made it (the Quran) known to be a Judgment of Authority in Arabic. If you were to follow their (worthless) desires after the knowledge that has reached you, then you will find neither protector nor defender against Allah |
