﴿وَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَا لُوطٗا سِيٓءَ بِهِمۡ وَضَاقَ بِهِمۡ ذَرۡعٗا وَقَالَ هَٰذَا يَوۡمٌ عَصِيبٞ ﴾
[هُود: 77]
﴿ولما جاءت رسلنا لوطا سيء بهم وضاق بهم ذرعا وقال هذا يوم﴾ [هُود: 77]
Abdel Haleem And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was anxious for them, feeling powerless to protect them, and said, ‘This is a truly terrible day!’ |
Abdul Hye And when Our Messengers (angels) came to Lot, he was grieved on their account and felt helpless to offer protection for them. He said: “This is a painful Day.” |
