﴿وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 10]
﴿ولقد أرسلنا من قبلك في شيع الأولين﴾ [الحِجر: 10]
| Abdel Haleem We sent messengers among the various communities of old |
| Abdul Hye Indeed, We sent (Messengers) before you (O Muhammad) amongst the early communities |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali We did send messengers before thee amongst the religious sects of old |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And assuredly We have sent apostles before thee among the sects of the ancients |
| Ahmed Ali We had also sent apostles to people of earlier persuasions |
| Aisha Bewley We sent Messengers before you among the disparate groups of previous peoples |
| A. J. Arberry Indeed, We sent Messengers before thee, among the factions of the ancients |
| Ali Quli Qarai Certainly We sent [apostles] before you to former communities |
