﴿إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 9]
﴿إنا نحن نـزلنا الذكر وإنا له لحافظون﴾ [الحِجر: 9]
| Abdel Haleem We have sent down the Quran Ourself, and We Ourself will guard it. Even before you [Prophet] |
| Abdul Hye Truly, We have sent down the reminder (the Qur’an), and surely, We will guard it |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Verily We! it is We who have revealed the Admonition, and verily We are the guardians thereof |
| Ahmed Ali We have sent down this Exposition, and We will guard it |
| Aisha Bewley It is We Who have sent down the Reminder and We Who will preserve it |
| A. J. Arberry then they would not be respited. It is We who have sent down the Remembrance, and We watch over it |
